This past weekend we headed up to Steamboat to chill & hang with our friends, Craig & Kate. I think the honor of "funniest Evan saying" for the week goes to a comment after we left dinner with them one night - we got in the car, and he says, "Nice people"! We had a great visit with Auntie Carolyn last week, and this week with Natalie and her family. The fall hiking has been wonderful, cool temps and dry trails. We've been doing more activities lately that involve running Evan's energy out, rather than mom's - trips to the zoo, Children's Museum, playing in the park, etc. He loves to watch football (thankfully), but it doesn't matter who's playing...he just likes to yell, "Go green!". And we get a kick out of him saying "Obama!" anytime a commercial comes on TV with Barack - which is a lot, being the battleground state of Colorado.
